Based on scientific hypotheses, Philip Loersch (*1980) works with the line as a dominating element in various creative forms, all the way to three-dimensional, spatial cutouts.
"Everything is a line", says the artist, a line which seems to lead an organic life of its own. He examines issues of physicality and composes his drawings based on their laws.

This results in a unique vocabulary of lines and shapes used to create complex, filigree structures that float freely in space. He is above all interested in what graphical means can contribute to current questions raised physics and how physical phenomena can be made experienced.
